Our Approach

Design projects are born from a vision, but ideas can't come to life without an executable plan.  Our process is consistent for any size project and nurtures them from concept to completion, our experience ensures every need and detail is considered.   Our planning is profoundly intuitive and every detail is meticulously considered to bring authentic and appropriate style.  Our goal is to deliver exceptional design solutions that are tailored to each client's lifestyle and budget.

To fulfill our clients dreams and create inviting, comfortable interiors that they will love to come home to.

When I design spaces, I have very detailed visions of all the experiences and memories that will unfold in them. Intuitively planning the scene for all of it, down to the most mundane things, which actually turn out to be the most important things.

A native of Toronto, Carol established her design career and experience in the GTA.   After a successful 10 year career designing commercial and corporate environments, Carol's passion for residential design became the focus of her independent practice in 2005. Her work quickly gained recognition and has been featured in publications such as Canadian House & Home, Style at Home and Home & Decor magazines and many popular Blogs.  In addition to private clients, Carol worked in the television industry for several years as an Associate Designer for HGTV's, Divine Design with Candice Olson.

Over her career Carol has designed a diverse range of interiors and is equally at ease designing a modern dwelling or heritage house.  Always one to avoid trends and frivolous decor, Carol draws inspiration for interiors from the architecture and surroundings, striving to create homes with a harmonious sense of place and authenticity in detail.  Her design aesthetic is derived from a reverence for simple beauty, natural materials and a passion for juxtaposing old and new.

Carol currently resides on the East Coast with her partner Mark and rescue cat Lucy, where they continue ongoing renovations to their 1850's seaside house and barn.
